Step 1: Terraria begins with an empty world and a basic character. The objective is straightforward: survive, gather resources, craft stronger gear, and gradually face tougher enemies and bosses 😈. There’s no fixed path, but the following steps can help beginners get started:

Step 2: Learn the Controls

Step 3: Use the on-screen joystick to move and jump, and the right-side controls to aim and use tools. Tap blocks or enemies to mine and attack. Open the inventory (backpack icon) to equip items, craft gear, and manage loot.

Step 4: Survive the First Night

Step 5: Cut down trees to collect wood, then quickly build a small shelter with walls, a door, and torches. Night brings zombies and Demon Eyes, so stay indoors, craft basic equipment, and only explore when you’re ready.
